Head chef Jon and sous chef Ricky have fun working within the seasons using local Hills and South Australian ingredients to create tasty morsels and flavour bombs.

Choose from an array of small plates and sides that change throughout the year and can include Cheeseburger Spring Rolls, Kingfish Croquettes, Char Grilled Quail, Duck San Choy Bao and Truffle Cheddar Toasties. Our fries are top notch and served with the Grunthal Truffle Vegemite Aioli (think umami with umami). Check out our menu here!

We pay homage to Grumpy’s, our site’s former pizza bar and brewhouse, with a choice of classic deep-dish pizzas made with a 48hour fermented hand stretched dough. Naturally, cheese features heavily, too. Our selection includes Too Cheesy starring Udder Delights brie and Mawson blue cheese along with parmesan, mozzarella and thyme. Udder Delights brie also makes an appearance on a mushroom pizza. Other toppings include salami with honey and chilli, and the crowd-pleasing margherita, meatlovers, and ham and pineapple, with all ingredients sourced from high quality producers and generously scattered.

Our kitchen is open from 12pm daily, and closes 3pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30pm Friday and Saturday nights, and 5pm Sunday nights. Outside of these hours we have a reduced all day dining menu.
