Saul and Sheree Sullivan have been cheese makers for over 35 combined years at Udder Delights which began as a fledgling goat dairy and cheese factory that was started in 1999 by Sheree’s parents. Udder Delights is still situated in the Adelaide Hills town of Lobethal and has grown to become one of Australia’s largest producers of Brie and Camembert while also making fresh goat cheeses and blue cheeses.
Saul and Sheree began Udder Delights Cheese Cellar in Hahndorf late 2006 to showcase Udder Delights and all things cheesy. Since moving on from the making of Udder Delights Cheese, the Sullivans' now educate all things cheese at their new microbrewery site at Grünthal Brew in Verdun, Adelaide Hills.
A specialised cheese monger is on site daily to talk all things cheese and provide a small free cheese tasting until 5pm daily. We have curated a selection of local smallgoods, pates, terrines, crackers, honeys and delicious produce. The range of Udder Delights cheeses are available for take home purchase, as well as a many of other local, national and international cheeses to complement what we have on offer.
